Cabaret-Patrol II

Tinsel & Tights Cabaret

The Brighton Ballroom, formerly the Hanbury Ballroom in Kemptown played host to Sussex Beacons Christmas Cabaret on Wednesday 7th December 2011.

There were a number of artistes performing including the hosts Maisie Trollette & Miss Pooh La May, along with Jennie Castell, Krissie Du Cann, Jamie Watson and Jason Lee.

There was a Charity Auction selling Eastenders memorabilia, this included an 'Albert Square' street sign that was signed by cast members, a Cheer leader outfit as worn by Character Kim Fox - this was bought by Danny Dwyer. Also a pair of Pat Butcher's Earrings bought by Terry Shaw.

Bear-Patrol organised a visit to the show and this raised £570 through ticket sales and auction bids from BP Members.

World AIDS Day 2011

Brighton AIDS Memorial Candle Light Vigil
New Steine Gardens, Kemp Town, Brighton
Thursday 1st December 2011, 6 - 7pm.

A group of Patrolettes attended the remembrance event of those we have lost to HIV/AIDS in Brighton and Hove. There was a reading of the names and a candle light vigil...
A very moving evening, lost but not forgotten.

In friendship united.

Hibernation

The Hotel Seattle @ Brighton Marina played host to Bear-Patrol's first annual Hibernation charity dinner.

We were greeted by the fabulous Miss Jason in the lounge area and served with fabulous cocktails and canapes.

Next we moved through to the Fremont Suite, where a Secret Raffle took place - guests were asked to look under their seat to locate a raffle ticket - a winning ticket was pulled out of the hat. They won a fabulous weekend break at at Avon Gorge Hotel  Bristol.

We all had a sumptuous lunch (lovely Turkey and Christmas Pudding were on offer) followed by Cabaret from Miss Jason and also Jennie Castell.

During a break in the Cabaret there was a Charity Auction hosted by TV Personality Mark Stacey.
