PAVILION-PATROL
On Sunday 22nd January 2012 it was Brighton Royal Pavilions 'Peoples Palace' day, this meant free entry for the day, Bear-Patrol took the chance to have a little wander around. There were around 20 patrolettes who attended followed by a Sunday lunch at Brighton Rocks.

JENNIE-PATROL
On Sunday 29th January 2012 Bear-Patrol had a small outing to Eastbourne on the train to watch Jennie Castell in Cabaret at The Hart, with Fonda Cox hosting the afternoon.
It was a great day out, there were lots of games including Play Your Cards Right, Bingo and Blankety Blank, with Jennie being the glamorous assistant.
Word of the day started out as OOOOOH but strangely ended up at FOURTEEN!

Santa-Patrol
On Sunday 18th December 2011 Bear-Patrol once again decended upon the Camelford Arms (The Toe) for their annual Santa-Patrol event.
This year Danny & Sleazy Santa (Ant Howells) were joined by Mary Christmas (Terry Shaw). David and Andrew at The Camelford provided us with a fabulous grotto to be our home for the day.
There were kisses and photo's galore in the grotto.
Later there was a complimentary buffet provided by The Camelford followed by a Charity Raffle organised by David Silver.
Bear-Patrol in association with The Camelford Arms managed to raise £419.63 beating last years total.

The Brighton Ballroom, formerly the Hanbury Ballroom in Kemptown played host to Sussex Beacons Christmas Cabaret on Wednesday 7th December 2011.
There were a number of artistes performing including the hosts Maisie Trollette & Miss Pooh La May, along with Jennie Castell, Krissie Du Cann, Jamie Watson and Jason Lee.
There was a Charity Auction selling Eastenders memorabilia, this included an 'Albert Square' street sign that was signed by cast members, a Cheer leader outfit as worn by Character Kim Fox - this was bought by Danny Dwyer. Also a pair of Pat Butcher's Earrings bought by Terry Shaw.
Bear-Patrol organised a visit to the show and this raised £570 through ticket sales and auction bids from BP Members.

World AIDS Day 2011
Brighton AIDS Memorial Candle Light Vigil

A group of Patrolettes attended the remembrance event of those we have lost to HIV/AIDS in Brighton and Hove. There was a reading of the names and a candle light vigil....

Hibernation
The Hotel Seattle @ Brighton Marina played host to Bear-Patrol's first annual Hibernation charity dinner.
We were greeted by the fabulous Miss Jason in the lounge area and served with fabulous cocktails and canapes.
Next we moved through to the Fremont Suite, where a Secret Raffle took place - guests were asked to look under their seat to locate a raffle ticket - a winning ticket was pulled out of the hat. They won a fabulous weekend break at at Avon Gorge Hotel Bristol.
We all had a sumptuous lunch (lovely Turkey and Christmas Pudding were on offer) followed by Cabaret from Miss Jason and also Jennie Castell.
During a break in the Cabaret there was a Charity Auction hosted by TV Personality Mark Stacey.
Hibernation Auction Lots
We auctioned the following items in aid of the Sussex Beacon.
Lot # 1 - The Treatment Rooms gave a Mens Treatment Ritual
Lot # 2 - Lancing Driver Training gave Day with a Trucker
Lot # 3 - Luxury Cotswolds Spa Break at Montpellier Chapter Hotels
Lot # 4 - Brighton Pride 2012, 2 Night Break at Hotel Seattle
Lot # 5 - Birmingham Royal Ballet Tickets for Coppelia at The London Coliseum.
Lot # 6 - Hair by Gary Forde at Forde Hair
Following the auction there was more Cabaret from Jennie Castell.
Massive thanks go out to everybody who helped put on the event, special thanks go to Barry Watson, Miss Jason, Jennie Castell and Mark Stacey. (Not forgetting Collin Day without whom the day would have been very quiet as he provided the sound system and introductions)
The whole day raised in excess of £5,800. Which is an amazing achievement.
Sky-Patrol
On Sunday 16th October 2011 Bear-Patrol took to the skies above Salisbury Plains. We attended the Netheravon Army Parachute Association near to Salisbury where 14 brave patrolettes took part in tandem sky dives!
Sky-Dive Final Amount !! £5,240.63 raised & donated.
Danny - "A Huge Thankyou to everyone who took part, supported & sponsored the Team for the Jump. It was a Fantastic Day and I'm so proud of what we all Achieved !! Well Done Patrolettes & roll on next years Dive"

XXL "PATROL" 24th September 2011
XXL "PATROL"
Bear-Patrol outing to XXL (London) on Saturday 24th September 2011 was BP's second organised trip there. The pick-up location was The Camelford Arms (the 'Toe'), we then headed to the XXL Nightclub in London. After a great night out we were picked up @ 4am in XXL car park and headed back to Brighton.
There were 2 minibuses supplied (free of charge) by Peter Moxom of London Hire as the outing was a Charity Event and all profits from the ticket sales went to the Sussex Beacon!

Sussex Beacon Cabaret Patrol
A group of Patrolettes attended the Sussex Beacon Cabaret to show their support on Monday 8th August 2011 at the Sallis Benney Theatre in Brighton
David Raven a.k.a. Maisie Trollette and Miss Jason were our glamorous hosts for an evening of music and laughter in aid of The Sussex Beacon.

Tammy Twinkle
with Josh Mills – Musical accompaniment
There was also a raffle in aid of the Sussex Beacon that raised in excess of £600

A fantastic evening of entertainment, thank you to everyone who gave their time to put the show on.

RVT Sports Day Patrol
Bear-Patrol took part in the Royal Vauxhall Tavern Sports Day on Bank Holiday Monday 29th August 2011.
A minibus was supplied for free to take us there & back by BP member Peter Moxom and a picnic was donated by Barry Watson of the Seattle Hotel. BP members attending each gave £25 per person and all of this was donated to the Sussex Beacon.
We even won 2 awards.............
- Best vegetarian Scotch Egg
- Loudest Supporters
Word back from the Sussex Beacon is that we raised £647.22 for them.

ThunderBears are go! Pride in Brighton & Hove 2011
Bear-Patrol entered the Brighton & Hove Pride Parade.
On Saturday 13th August 2011 beginning at Marine Parade and after winding its way through the streets of Brighton finally finishing at Preston Park.
The theme was 'Out of this World', we decided upon our own take on the Thunderbirds - The ThunderBears with Lady Bear-nelope driven by the faithful Parker and pursued by the evil Hood.
A few of the hundreds of photo's taken below.
